Transform Schools launches IInd edition of Masti Ki Paathshaala – a joyful learning initiative to arrest the learning slide, post COVID-19

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], January 02: Transform Schools, People For Action launches Masti Ki Paathshaala – a joyful learning initiative in the government schools in partnership with SCERT, Chhattisgarh.

The 12-hour fun learning Masti Ki Paathshaala will be rolled out via digital mode through the DIKSHA platform. The fun activity-based content will engage students of grades 6-9 in socio-emotional learning, foundational concepts of environment and ecosystem science, and outdoor DIY activities to build responsibility among students for their immediate environment.

The second edition of Masti Ki Paathshaala is aimed at helping students to re-engage with learning using a thoughtfully curated set of interactive learning content that students can work at their own pace. The students will engage with learning in a way that sparks their curiosity and interest in learning more, building conceptual clarity and awareness of how this fits into 21st-century real-life scenarios.

Key Features: Foundational competencies, Ecosystem, Our Habitat, Food Chain, Sustainability, Mindfulness, DIY Activities

“Masti Ki Paathshaala will link school learning with a wider perspective on the world and behavioural changes towards a responsible global citizen. The two-week engagement is an opportunity to understand one’s surroundings and responsibility towards them and, at the same time, be acquainted with far-off ecosystems and understand the role and responsibility of the human species towards our collective home, the Earth. This programme encourages the desire to learn with one’s interest and at their own pace”, says Dr Richa Goswami, Associate Director of Programmes at Transform Schools.
