Meet Ankit Mudgal known as Famousphotowala, an inspiration for budding photographers and filmmakers

New Delhi: When creating a profession, some people wait for the right opportunities to come to them, while others actively seek them out, establish limits, and generate brand-new possibilities. It is easier said than done, yet a few exceptional people have accomplished it and served as role models for a new generation of innovators. Ankit Mudgal has done the same thing in the photography profession, opening up extraordinary new avenues for development in what is already a fiercely competitive field.

Mudgal has garnered a lot of appreciation from the ace photographers in Bollywood with his breathtaking film photography in the newly released music video ‘Deedar’ starring music director Ismail Darbar’s son Zaid Darbar and Rumman Ahmed. Mudgal captured every minute detail, emotion, and character with his professional camera.

He (Mudgal) is an emerging and brilliant Photographer with a proactive approach and has painted the canvas of his dream with the colours of his consistent and persistent efforts.

Hailing from the pink city of Jaipur, Mudgal started his career as a choreographer and taught thousands of students between 2004 to 2012. He also worked as a back dancer in many chartbuster Bollywood and Hollywood films, including Leela and the Hollywood movie The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel with actors Dev Patel & Teena Desai and worked in a Heineken advertisement.

A hotel management student, Mudgal joined the hospitality industry in 2010 to try his luck. However, he left the industry in 2011 and decided to pursue his hobby of photography. In 2018, Mudgal studied the professional course of photography at Raghu Rai Institute—Raghu Rai is a world-famous photographer.

Mudgal was honoured with the Lumix Travel Photography award for the #shotwithlove contest in 2020 and featured on the national geographic channel.
